Our 2006 charitable project was helping Ronald McDonald House of Oklahoma City refurbish its landscaping at the front entrance.
AgriLawn is not normally a design and build company but decided to take this project on to utilize the talents and expertise of many of our staff. The project required that we install plants that had year round interest and that be easy to maintain.
AgriLawn asked two nurseries Precure and TLC to donate much of the plant materials and Minick materials donated some of the dirt and rock needed to bring the install to completion. AgriLawn staff provided the design, some of the plants and materials and the manpower to install the landscape. AgriLawn continues to provide lawn care and Plant Health Care on an as needed basis. Our experts on staff will also provide training to the volunteers for proper tree and shrub trimming in order for the property to continually improve on it's manicured appearance.
The project was completed in late March of 2006. The management and staff of RMHOKC are exceptionally pleased with the outcome. Herb Gilkey, CEO of RMH, said, "Our courtyard has never been so pleasing. We are estatic with the work and generosity of the management and staff at AgriLawn. They have been a joy to work with."
