Title: Route Manager

• Demonstrates willingness to learn horticulture knowledge and skills necessary to complete job objectives

Job Duties:

• Operates work vehicle daily
• Completes daily lawn applications and other work orders
• Completes daily customer calls
• Completes daily paperwork
• Communicates with customers and co-workers to meet timely objectives
• Informs homeowners of necessary actions/services needed to achieve desired results
• Operate hand held radio
• Maintains orderly work area
• Ensure uniform and PPE are worn professionally and properly
• Maintains cleanliness/orderliness of interior and exterior of work vehicle
• Performs some light maintenance of equipment and work vehicle when necessary
• Assists in loading necessary product onto work vehicle
• Refills product as needed
• Works with supervisor to ensure acceptable performance standards are met
• Communicates with supervisor daily
• Receives on-going training from supervisor and management
• Earns certification to apply Pesticides (company provides)
• Acquires horticulture and other pertinent knowledge through O.J.T. and work related seminars or training courses
• Participates in company meetings, committee meetings, and team meetings
• Completes lawn evaluations when necessary
• Assist with various shop work when necessary
• Uses city road map to efficiently route and complete workload
• Abides by all company policies and procedures
• Demonstrates safety and respect for ODAFF pesticide law and regulation
