Why does my lawn have discolored spots after an application?

Answer:   Spots that occur shortly after an application are commonly a result of post-emergent weed control.  These spots generally green back up within 7 -10 days depending on how aggressive the weed populations were treated. This generally occurs towards the late spring when temperatures exceed 80 degrees.
