Lawn Care

What's included in AgriLawn's lawn care programs?

We offer three tiered programs: a 5-Step Economy Program covering essential weed control and fertilization, a 7-Step Professional Program with three rounds of pre-emergent treatment scheduled every 4 to 8 weeks, and a 9-Step Ultimate Lawn Health Program that adds spring and fall soil enhancement applications.

What weeds does AgriLawn treat for?

Our weed control targets common Oklahoma grassy, broadleaf, and sedges, using pre-emergent treatments to stop weeds before they sprout and post-emergent spot treatments for existing weeds.

Why would my lawn need aeration and seeding?

Aeration relieves soil compaction, common in the OKC metro's clay-heavy soil, and improves how air, water, and nutrients reach the roots. We can follow it with overseeding using certified fescue blends to fill in thin or bare areas.

Does my lawn need lime or sulfur treatments?

If your soil's pH is too acidic or too alkaline, your grass can't absorb nutrients efficiently, which leads to weak growth and more weeds, pests, and disease. We test your soil first, then apply lime or sulfur as needed to bring pH into a healthier range.

What is the Soil Enhancement Program?

It's a two-step annual treatment for Oklahoma's dense clay soils: a microbial compost application in spring or early summer to kickstart nutrient cycling, and a humic acid biochar application in fall to strengthen roots and improve moisture and nutrient retention.

What does the Water Efficiency Application Program do?

It's a soil treatment applied to your lawn's root zone that helps capture and hold moisture more effectively, so water stays available longer between waterings. Many lawns see a 30 to 50 percent reduction in overall watering needs.

Pest Control

What pests does AgriLawn treat for?

We treat ants, mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, grubs, armyworms, and bagworms, both indoors and outdoors, with a customized plan for your property.

How do you handle grub control, and when are lawns treated?

Grubs are beetle larvae that feed on grassroots, causing brown patches and weakened turf. We apply preventative treatment in early to mid-summer and follow up with inspections to catch any recurring activity.

What are armyworms and bagworms, and when are they active in Oklahoma?

Fall armyworms are surface-dwelling caterpillars that damage grass quickly, and we monitor for them from late July through October. Bagworms create cone-shaped bags on trees and shrubs and are assessed year-round since early detection prevents the most damage.

How does AgriLawn's mosquito control work?

We apply targeted treatments three times a year during peak mosquito activity, creating a barrier around your property with products not available in stores.

Plant Health Care & Tree Care

What does AgriLawn's Plant Health Care program cover?

It is a proactive approach to protecting the health and value of your trees and shrubs through seasonal monitoring and treatment for insects, disease, and environmental stress. A tailored program may include shrub bed control, foliar treatments, fertilization, and soil applications based on the needs of your landscape.

What is the Tree & Shrub Soil Drench Program, and does my tree need it?

It's an organic soil treatment delivered directly to the root zone of trees and shrubs, combining nutrients, root-stimulating hormones, and humic acids. It's especially useful for new plantings, since transplant shock is the leading cause of tree loss within the first three years, and for established trees stressed by Oklahoma's heat, drought, or heavy clay soil.

What if I notice large white webs on my trees?

Those webs are usually caused by fall webworms, caterpillars that build silky nests around branch ends and feed on the leaves inside from early summer through fall. We treat active infestations before they spread, ideally while the webs are still small.
